สวัสดีค่ะ สอบผ่านไปแล้วเมื่อวันที่ 27 ตุลาคม ที่ผ่านมา หญิงส่งเอกสารหลังจากเป็นเรซิเด้นท์ 2 ปี 11 เดือนค่ะ (นับวันที่ ตามที่ระบุในกรีนการ์ด) วันนี้จะมาแชร์ประสบการณ์คร่าวๆเป็นแนวทางให้เพื่อนๆนะคะ

07/15/11 – ได้รับจดหมายนัดพิมพ์ลายนิ้วมือ
08/03/11 – ไปพิมพ์ลายนิ้วมือ
09/21/11 – ได้รับจดหมายนัดสัมภาษณ์
10/27/11 – ไปสัมภาษณ์ที่ศูนย์ Phoenix

8) Copy of my Thai Passport (New and old)
9) Copy of my birth certificate along with English translation
10) Copy of my Name Change Certificates along with English translation
11) Copy of my husband U.S. Passport and Certificate of Naturalization
12) Copy of Certificate of marriage
13) Copy of the title of our house showing joint ownership
14) Copies of our Joint federal tax returns for Tax years 2010, 2009 and 2008
15) Copies of Combined Statement of my husband account showing my name as a POD (Payable on Death), Statement of Joint checking account of my husband (Mr. xxx) and my father (Mr. xxx) and Statement of Joint checking account showing both our names
16) Copy of Joint credit card showing both our names
17) Copy of Cellphone bill showing both our names
18) Copy of COSTCO Business Membership Cards
19) Pictures of our wedding in Thailand

ในวันสัมภาษณ์หญิงเตรียมเอกสารไปหมดทุกอย่าง แต่เจ้าหน้าที่ไม่ขอดูเอกสารอะไรเลย นอกจากกรีนการ์ดกับไอดี (ใบขับขี่) เจ้าหน้าที่คนที่สัมภาษณ์ เป็นผู้หญิงหน้าตาไม่ยิ้มแย้มเลย ไม่มีแม้แต่คำทักทาย ดูเครียดมากๆ เค้าไม่ทักเรา เราทักเค้าเองก้อได้ อิอิ จากนั้นพอเข้าไปในห้อง เจ้าหน้าที่บอกสอบเลยละกันนะ แล้วก้อถามคำถาม 6 ข้อนี้ค่ะ

6. What do we show loyalty to when we say the Pledge of Allegiance?
พอเราตอบไปเจ้าหน้าที่ก้อพิมพ์ๆๆ ในคอมพิวเตอร์ จากนั้นก้อมีประโยคสั้นๆ มาให้อ่าน

แล้วก้อให้เราเขียน
The White House is in Washington, D.C.
ง่ายๆเลยค่ะ ไม่ยากเลย จากนั้นเจ้าหน้าที่ก้อถามคำถามในฟอร์ม N-400 ถามพวกที่อยู่ เลขโซเชียล ชื่อสามี วันเกิด อะไรพวกนี้ แล้วก้อคำถาม yes/no ที่เราตอบๆไป พอถามเสร็จเจ้าหน้าที่ก้อมีเอกสารมาให้เซ็นต์ๆๆ แล้วบอก Congratulations ยูสอบผ่านแล้ว แค่นี้เองค่ะ ง่ายมากๆเลย
ยังไงขอให้เพื่อนๆที่กำลังรอสอบอยู่ตอนนี้ โชคดีเจอคนสัมภาษณ์ง่ายๆ เพราะก่อนหน้านี้มีน้องคนนึง สอบก่อนหญิง 2 สัปดาห์ สอบที่ศูนย์เดียวกัน เจอเจ้าหน้าที่งี่เง่า ขอดูเอกสารหลายอย่างเลย แล้วขอเอกสารเพิ่มด้วย เพราะชีบอกว่าเหมือนน้องแต่งงานปลอมๆ ซึ่งไม่เป็นความจริงเลย เล่นเอาน้องร้องไห้ในห้องสัมภาษณ์ เลยต้องส่งเอกสารไปเพิ่ม ไม่รู้ตอนนี้ผ่านหรือยัง
